Alot of people think they have their priorities in order. Some people KNOW how to prioritize important things. Others just let their days and weeks take shape without thought or plan or shcedule. There are certainly things that we all make time for; whether it be sports, reading, relaxing, homes, family, recreation, cars, career, education, food(everyone does), friends, church, etc. The things that we make time for are important to us. These are the things we value the most. It's been said that, "A person will do what a person wants to do". That's true. If something you care about is taking place, you will find time, make time, create time for it. You will push other things aside for that thing. Well God also has priorities. Things that he will push other things aside for. Things he will go out of his way for. GOD'S PRIORITY is people! Not sports, or careers, or money. BUT PEOPLE. God made a world for people. He made animals, plants, and all things for our enjoyment. (He made if for Himself ultimately) But he loves people and people motivate Him. He even wrote a #1 best-seller for people. He even came down from heaven and shed his blood to die for us so we can be forgiven of our sins. That's how much He values people. He created a heaven for HIMSELF??? NO, for people. Jesus Loves People!!! And funny thing is, I wonder how many other people have the priority of people! Many times we put our jobs before people. Our cars before people. Our hobbies before our family. Our sports team before God. Our home before people. Our money before people. WHAT AM I SAYING? I'm saying that our priority should match God's priority. We should become followers of Jesus and love people more than things. We should care about the person hurting down the street the way God does. We should be concerned about the homeless person in our city like God is. We should want to help the drug addict the way God wants to help them. We should be motivated about changing people's lives. That should become our #1 priority. If we don't win souls and become aware of the hurting, confused, lonely, depressed, lost people all around us we no longer have a purpose for existing. God didn't save us to sit in a church. He didn't love us for us to just go through the motions of religious service. He saved us to continue His mission and His priority: Reaching and saving people!!! My sincere prayer is that all of us would catch the mission statement of Jesus Christ. I hope we'll become less self-centered and more people-oriented. We need to change our perspective. We are not here on this earth to get a degree, get a good job, make a lot of money, have a nice house and nice cars, have a family, and then die one day. We have a higher purpose, a greater calling, and it's to influence lives and become world changers. We won't change our world if we keep the priorities of our job and our hobbies. We need to think bigger than that. Life is too short to just be average and watch people go by us without God. We need to step in and wave them a towards a shelter, a place of safety, a God that loves them. We need to love them. We need to care about them. LET'S CHANGE OUR PRIORITIES. Let's get the passion that God has. Let's get the heart beat of Jesus Christ: Evangelism. Reaching the lost. Winning Souls! We can do it, but we must make some adjustments to our own person priorities. God's Word is important, but it's not effective unless it is planted in the heart of a person. GET IT!!! Now let's go do it my friend and let's change our world. So that's what God's priority is. This blog will be about God's #1 priority. Come back and read more later. You will be challenged and encouraged to do more! God bless.

This is my simple blog about evangelism and the things that God challenges me with. If you can be inspired or helped by this, I hope it does. These are just some of my thoughts I wanted to publish. I am greatly influenced by Bro. Maddix and Bro. Downs. I recomend their websites and subscribing to their emails.
